- Artist Tiago Palma is bringing a few copies of his variant cover of X-Men: United to Table #HH-20 during SDCC this year, where you can get a signed copy from him.
- New York Times bestselling and Bram Stoker Award-winning author Kiersten White let her followers know that she won’t be on Instagram much this month, because she’ll be busy getting ready for her many appearances throughout San Diego Comic-Con 2026.
- The California Browncoats are bringing the perfect ice-breaker for parties and gatherings with them to San Diego Comic-Con 2026. Imagine strolling up to the punch bowl with your very own shiny, collapsible Independent Army camp cup while everyone else gazes with envy over the brim of their red Solo cups.
- A friend of mine once asked me if Philadelphia was as weird as social media makes it out to be. “No,” I replied. “It’s weirder.” Philadelphia-based artist Matt Emmons tried to catch ’em all in his five-color riso print Kanto Safari Zone. He’ll have a few of these with him when he comes to SDCC this year, but he’s making this a single, limited edition run, so when they’re gone, much like my Tastykakes, they’re gone.
- Authors are better with words than the graphic arts, which was perfectly illustrated by author Mathilda Zeller’s well-formatted text announcement she made for her summer con schedule. Of course, San Diego Comic-Con is included.
- UK-based comic author Gemma Correll was happy to let her fans know that she will be attending San Diego Comic-Con this year after all.

- Look for legendary artist Dan Quintana at the Red Hood Comics Booth #705 every SDCC morning this year with books, sketches, and limited art prints available each morning during the con.
- They’re taking the hobbits to… Comic-Con! Authors Tom Racine and Kaitlyn Facista will be signing their Lord of the Rings and Tolkien-related books at Mysterious Galaxy Booth #1119 on Thursday, July 23 at 11am. Plus, if you get there early enough, you could even score something precious… a sketch card from Racine.

- Author Jan Flynn has signed about twenty copies of her Griffin Speaker book, which will be available at the Disney Publishing booth.
