WB Announces Bag Designs for SDCC- And It’s a Backpack This Year!

Anyone who has ever been to SDCC can tell you the one free give-away accessory that they absolutely can’t do without.  That accessory?  The huge bags from WB, into which con attendees can stuff all the other awesome swag they get on the convention floor.  The WB started to make and distribute the bags in 2006, and last year they teamed with Comic Con to make it the official bag of San Diego Comic Con.  In previous years, con attendees would stand in line at the WB booth to receive their bags, and the bag design being handed out would change passed on availability.  Last year, all attendees got a bag with registration, so stalking the WB booth for the bag you wanted was no longer a necessity.  Despite this “everyone gets a bag” policy, as previous attendees can tell you, lots of bag-swapping goes down!  This year, the bags convert into a backpack, making them even more of a “must-have.”

As was the case last year, one side of the bag will represent San Diego Comic Con and the other side of the bag will represent an offering from Warner Bros. Entertainment. Shows being featured this year include“The Big Bang Theory,” “Fringe,” “Supernatural,” “The Vampire Diaries,” “Green Lantern: The Animated Series,” “The Looney Tunes Show,” “ThunderCats,” “Batman: Arkham City,” “LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5–7” and “Justice League.” Click the link for more details and to read the official press release from The WB.

Check out the pictures below to get your first glimpse of the bags.  Any of these stand out?  (I’ve got my eyes set on “Fringe” and “The Vampire Diaries, so I’ll be looking to make a swap if I don’t get them!)  Let us know your thoughts below.
