GeekShot Exclusive Photo Series Vol. 5 (Week 7.4)

Welcome to the GeekShot Photo Exclusive Series. This will be a regularly recurring post featuring cool, interesting, or just plain awesome moments we have captured during San Diego Comic-Con and WonderCon over the years. Each post will include a photo by Beth or James of GeekShot Photography. We may include a short story about the photo, but sometimes we’ll just let the photo speak for itself.

About This Photo

Doomsday Maquette at the Sideshow Collectibles booth during San Diego Comic-Con 2018.

Sideshow decided to put this and some of the other statues on a turntable. So now it’s a bit more of a challenge to get a good photo. I had to put the autofocus on servo and shoot multiple exposures as the statue moved into a good position.

Did you face any challenges getting a photo at SDCC? Let us know in the comments.
