Prove You’re Not Completely Worthless at ‘Peacemaker’ Proving Ground at Comic-Con Special Edition [UPDATE November 26]

Overnight, crews have been busy adding a third (yes, third!) offsite to Comic-Con Special Edition. Attendees will be able to stop by the area near the Hilton Gaslamp, traditionally AMC’s The Walking Dead location during San Diego Comic-Con, to prove they aren’t completely worthless at the Peacemaker Proving Ground.

Details are still scarce on exactly what this offsite is, but there appears to be an obstacle course and an area that seems themed to some sort of action sequence — after the action, complete with bullet hole ridden fridges, strewn furniture, and run-down cars. Nothing like a bloodbath to start the day.

Either way, this should be a fun stop during Comic-Con Special Edition for those of us very excited about the upcoming HBOMax series Peacemaker from James Gunn.

[UPDATE November 25]

The Peacemaker Proving Grounds is just about complete and ready for you, with a 12PM PT opening time today we were told. They’ve added a branded food truck, some seating, a line-up sign, the building got a very patriotic makeover, and more.

[UPDATE November 24]

Our own Outside Comic-Con is on-site, and snapped some photos of the offsite as it’s being prepared. We’ll update as we learn more.

Also, there’s… this! Is it a Starro made of gnomes? A sign of the apocalypse? We aren’t sure — but if you are, let us know.
