A lot has changed at the Hilton Bayfront, one of the most popular hotels during San Diego Comic-Con and home to the Indigo Ballroom, since the summer of 2019.
Parks and Cons stopped by to get a look.
Vela, the former restaurant on the first floor of the Bayfront, is gone now — and has been replaced by Hudson & Nash, coastal inspired dining, with a menu that includes fish tacos, pizza, salads, small plates, and more.
It’s currently open for breakfast 6:30am-11am, lunch 11am-2pm, and dinner 5pm-10 — but staff told us they may extend hours during San Diego Comic-Con.
Compared to Vela, it’s very open and airy.
The food, including this Hudson & Nash Burger, is good, too.
What we’re most excited about though is The Cannery Market & Supply, a grab-and-go shop with beverages and snacks that’s going to be a must-stop on many attendees’ list during the con if you’re at the hotel or seeing a panel here. Currently, it’s open 6am-midnight.
These are the current offerings at the new addition. #SDCC https://t.co/MoC2FTWcbs pic.twitter.com/ExGfajETFb
