Be kind to our web-footed friends. For a duck might be somebody’s uncle. If you hear that whenever someone plays “Stars and Stripes Forever,” you (or someone in your family) might be a Disney fan. Sure, yesterday might have been a holiday, but it’s our patriotic duty to bring you the best SDCC news out there. While you’re trying to get back into the swing of things, here’s some news from BAIT!, Ryan Ottley, Bling Squared Glass, Elhoffer Design, and more you’re sure to enjoy.

Here’s a look at some of the news you might have missed:

If you thought the Exhibit Hall floor at SDCC lacked enough bling, Bling Squared Cute Glass is there to make up for any shortcomings. According to their Instagram, they’re pulling their adorable glass Totoros off their website on July 7 to take them to SDCC, so if you won’t be at the con, this is your week to order one.

INVINCIBLE creator Ryan Ottley is going to be a busy artist at SDCC this year. You’ll find him at Felix Comic Art’s Booth #4612 with his con exclusive INVINCIBLE print, which will only be sold at cons this year. He’ll also have some pre-drawn commissions with him, so keep an eye on our commissions post for more details.

Are you a paid subscriber to Scott Snyder’s Our Best Jackett substack? If not, and you’re a Snyder fan heading to SDCC, you might want to look into it. Paid subscribers will get an expedited line just for them, for signings. Black Jacket members will also get a free dinner with goodies.

Comic memorabilia vendor Desert Wind Comics announced via Facebook they’ll have legendary artist John Romita Jr. at Booth #4201 during SDCC.
It’s pretty vague, but BAIT! Studios teased that they’re doing “a lot” to prepare for SDCC 2022. We’ll have to wait to find out what “a lot” really means, but if it’s from BAIT!, you know it’s going to be good.
