We have what looks to be the first Hasbro San Diego Comic-Con exclusive announcement. On a recent Hasbro Pulse Fanstream, Hasbro unveiled a Transformers Legacy Evolution War Dawn 2-pack, featuring Ariel (or “Erial”, as the spelling on the box says) and Dion.

On the video, the team mentioned that this would be a Comic-Con exclusive, with more information to come this summer.

Interestingly though, according to Seibertron, the set was already spotted in Canada GameStops last month, with a street date set for April.

When we reached out to Hasbro, they confirmed that this is a convention exclusive, and that they’ll be revealing more information in the “coming months” — which certainly doesn’t sound like an April release.

Last year, also on a Hasbro Pulse video, Hasbro showed off the first look of a Sgt. Slaughter exclusive, which ultimately wound up as part of Entertainment Earth’s SDCC offerings — so it could be a similar situation.
