25 Years of Mission Hill
The cult animated series, Mission Hill, is celebrating its 25th anniversary in a big way this year.
The series, which hails from co-creators Bill Oakley and Josh Weinstein (writers, producers, and showrunners for some of the biggest animated hits ever, including The Simpsons, Futurama, and Disenchantment), follows the lives of Andy French and his roommates Jim and Posey, as well as their dog Stogie, and how their lives are turned upside down when Andy’s younger, sheltered teenage brother Kevin moves in with them.
Mission Hill will be embarking on a nationwide tour this year to celebrate 25 years, which includes a stop at San Diego Comic-Con. Fans will be treated to new, never-before-seen high definition restoration of fan favorite episodes with the series original music. Select episodes will be screened, followed by a Q&A with creators (and who knows what surprise guests may appear?) and trivia for prizes.
Voice actors Brian Posehn and Herbert Sigüenza will also be in attendance.
Each stop will also feature exclusive merchandise only available on tour, to be revealed later.
Tickets are available for $25-$30 for General Admission, with VIP packages also available (which include priority seating, as well as a meet and greet with co-creators Oakley and Weinstein during which you’ll be allowed one photo on a personal device and one item to be signed).
The tour is produced by ThisMyShow Presents.
The San Diego Comic-Con show will be on Thursday, July 25 at the Music Box at 7pm (with VIP doors at 6pm and GA at 6:30pm).
