A Goofy Movie 30th Anniversary
It’s time to stand out above the crowd, because A Goofy Movie is celebrating its 30th anniversary in San Diego, during San Diego Comic-Con.
As part of its brand-new touring event series, D23 On the Road, the official Disney fan club is celebrating 30 years of Goofy, Max, and the ultimate father-son road trip. The cross-country road trip will bring the film to 21 stops across the USA, including to San Diego on Thursday, July 24, 2025 (with screenings at both 3:30pm and 6:30pm) — which just happens to be during San Diego Comic-Con. The location has now been confirmed as AMC Mission Valley (1640 Camino Del Rio N, San Diego).
The screening is a full-fledged Powerline-level experience, packed with interactive moments and special surprises. Guests will receive an Activation Kit designed to “make your movie experience extra magical”. Every ticket also includes a limited-edition Possum Park pennant, a Powerline concert ticket with lanyard, a commemorative Goofy Movie pin, and themed photo ops.
Tickets go on sale Thursday, April 17 at 10am PT. Pricing is as follows:
- D23 Gold Members: $35 (+$3 processing fee)
- D23 General Members: $45 (+$3 processing fee)
Each member may reserve tickets for themselves and up to four guests. Children under 3 may attend without a ticket if seated on a guardian’s lap (note: only ticketed guests will receive giveaways). Membership must be verified at the time of ticket purchase and at the event.
