Climate & Nature Character Meetup
Captain Planet would approve. San Diego Climate Week is inviting environmentally minded cosplayers to suit up for a Climate & Nature Character Meetup on Saturday, July 25, with characters like WALL-E, Groot, Poison Ivy, Aang, Moana, Ms. Frizzle, and more all welcome.
Cosplayers will meet for a group photo on the convention steps at 10am, before participants make their way along the Embarcadero to Seaport Village.
The day wraps up with Poison Ivy and Aang look-alike contests at Ringer’s Roller Rink in Seaport Village from 12pm-1pm, with the winner of each taking home a 4-pack of skating passes. The top 10 finalists will also win a free cone from Ben & Jerry’s.
