PAWmicon 2026

Looking for a dog-gone good time before San Diego Comic-Con? Join the Helen Woodward Animal Center for their annual PAWmicon event, which returns on Tuesday, July 21 from 4:30pm-7pm.

Bring your furry friend (or at least yourself) to Balboa Park on President’s Way Lawn, located in front of the Comic-Con Museum. You’ll have a “paw-some” time with the pet cosplay contest, vendors, and activities for both humans and pets alike.

The event is free to attend.

Want to enter the costume contest (with three separate categories: Flying Solo, Dynamic Duos & Trios & More, and Fantastic Floats)? There is a $20 fee and you can register on their site.
