Shredding the Multiverse
The worlds of movies and music collide at an event hosted by UC San Diego Artpower, during the weekend of San Diego Comic-Con.
Hosted by ArtPower at the Epstein Family Amphitheater (about an hour from the Gaslamp on the trolley), fans can delve deeper into the world of music from modern-day television classics like Cobrai Kai, The Penguin, and more.
On Tuesday, July 21 at 7:30pm, kick off your convention week with “Shredding the Multiverse”, a high-energy live performance featuring composer Mick Giacchino (The Penguin, Muppet Mayhem), along with musicians/composers Zach Robinson and Leo Birenberg (Cobrai Cai). Expect a genre-hopping set that pulls from across film, TV, and beyond, including Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, Cobrai Cai, The Penguin, and more, reworked into a full-on concert experience. It’s a different way to experience the music behind some of your favorite stories. Tickets are available now and $45 for adults, or $35 for ages 2-18.
