UPDATE: This event has been cancelled, and refunds all be issued via the original point of purchase.
Step up to the plate for a nostalgic night at the ballpark (metaphorically speaking) with a special screening of the beloved cult classic film The Sandlot (1993) on Saturday, July 25 at 7pm at the Balboa Theatre, followed by a moderated discussion and Q&A with Hamilton “Ham” Porter himself, actor Patrick Renna.
Fans can relive the classic summer adventure and hear Renna share behind-the-scenes stories from the film.
After the screening, Renna will take the stage to talk about the movie’s lasting legacy more than 30 years later and answer audience questions about one of the most quotable baseball films of all time (including his iconic line, “You’re Killing Me, Smalls”.
Tickets range from $50–$93, with a limited number of Pre-Show Meet & Greet packages available that include a greeting and photo opportunity with Renna before the event (though these may already be sold out).
