‘The Walking Dead’, ‘Preacher’ and ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ Bite Into San Diego Comic-Con With Panels [UPDATE]

[UPDATE] There will also be autograph sessions for The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead during the convention – with Fear the Walking Dead‘s signing set for Saturday, July 22 from 12PM-1PM in the Martin Luther King Jr. Plaza (for an offsite, perhaps?) and The Walking Dead‘s session set for Friday, July 21 at AMC Booth #4237.

[PREVIOUS] That sound you hear is a horde of excited fans.

Although it should come as no surprise whatsoever, AMC’s three most Comic-Con friendly series — The Walking Dead, Preacher and Fear the Walking Dead — will definitely be back at the convention with panels this year, per TV Line.

The Fear the Walking Dead panel will be on Friday from 11:15PM-12:15PM in Hall H, followed immediately after by The Walking Dead from 12:15PM-1:15PM in Hall H.

Then, at 12:15, it’s all about The Walking Dead. Hall H will be crowded once again, as stars Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Chandler Riggs, Lennie James, Alanna Masterson, Seth Gilliam and Khary Payton join producers Scott M. Gimple, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Dave Alpert and Greg Nicotero.

Finally, at 4PM, Preacher‘s Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga, Joe Gilgun, Graham McTavish, Ian Colletti join producers Seth Rogen and Garth Ennis to discuss the new season.

    Please, AMC, Better Call Saul!

  • David

You think Preacher will have a cast signing too?

  • David Johnson

Not a Panel Person, but sure hope I can figure out how to get a Cast Signing Ticket or Wristband for Preacher!!!

I love The Walking Dead. TV show. I don’t follow the comic. I
have wanted to draw a ticket to possibly get in front of the stars for
signatures. This is somewhere around the
4th year that I have wanted to. In the past I had been confused how
to get to draw a ticket. Mostly because
of different processes. I am told this year will have the tickets drawn at the
AMC booth. It is supposed to be a separate line than the one for your pic in
the set up for this year. That the tickets
will be announced at the booth different times of the day and you can draw for
a ticket I gather if you get a winner you get a wristband (or whatever they
give to a winner) You can try again at a different time if the line is done and
out of tickets that time. Can anyone please tell me if this is the way of it?
Trying to get to the AMC booth is never

How or where do you get contact information for the autograph tickets? I’d like to buy some but this is my first time to sdcc and am totally lost

The autographs aren’t purchased, it’s a drawing system. For TWD it has been at their booth on the exhibit floor the last couple years. When you walk through the interactive booth you get to pick a ticket out of a bag and if you pick the right color, you get to attend the autograph session. The odds are low though. Last year they were saying 50 winning tickets and they put each losing ticket drawn back into the bag. You could potentially spend all day going through that line and still not get a winner, but someone has to win!
Other autograph systems are different and typically have their own line and occur first thing when they open – lines form much, much earlier. The best thing is to go for what you want most and accept that you may come away without it.

How can you get autograph tickets for FTWD?

  • Kenny Liao

MLK Plaza doesn’t seem to exist… any idea what this actually refers to?
