Varietyis reporting that The Hub, the cable network from the fine folks at Discovery Communications and Hasbro, is going to be bringing My Little Pony to SDCC this year! The article doesn’t specifically mention in what capacity the show will be represented at the con, but mentioning it outside of any HasbroToyShop announcement is promising for a panel appearance.
Here’s the quote, which also mentions the other Hub shows appearing at SDCC:
The Hub will focus on “My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic,” “The Aquabats Super Show,” “Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters,” “Transformers Prime” and “Dan Vs.”
Cabler will also have Curtis Armstrong, Dave Foley and Paget Brewster of “Dan Vs,” Scott Wolf, David Sobolov of “Kaijudo,” “Transformers” Peter Cullen and “My Little Pony’s” Tara Strong, Andrea Libman, Ashleigh Ball and Cathy Weseluck to meet with fans.
We’re also ecstatic The Aquabats are definitely coming back to the con. We expected as much, since they will be at the Hard Rock during the weekend, but their panel last year was one of the craziest, and most entertaining, things we’ve seen in the convention center. We recommend you check out our article from last year to prepare yourself.
