As we stated in an earlier post, covering San Diego Comic-Con is becoming a year-round event for us. Exhibitors are announcing plans for the convention earlier than before, as we saw with MattyCollector’s announcement of it’s Doomsday SDCC exclusive this past November.
Last year, one of our first bits of SDCC exclusive news was for the CHEW pink vinyl Chog which was unveiled at Amazing Arizona Comic-Con 2013 last January. Well, ahead of Amazing Arizona 2014, we have news of another CHEW exclusive for SDCC 2014.
Posted to Skeleton Crew Studio’s website was a hint we’ll be seeing another Chog color variant exclusive to SDCC 2014:
“CHEW” should see the release of a new color Chog, a to-be-revealed SDCC exclusive, Tony’s badge and other goodness.
Skeloton Crew Studios creates officially licensed replicas from the aforementioned CHEW, as well as Mouse Guard, Hellboy, B.P.R.D., and Locke & Key. You can check out the studio’s website for galleries and an online shop of their current offerings.
Did you pick up the SDCC 2013 Chog last year? Are you excited for another color variant? Let us know in the comments.
