As we mentioned last week, this past weekend was the debut of Gallery1988’s touring Ghostbusters 30th Anniversary Art Show in New York City.
The website Nerdvolution was on hand to grab some video of the event’s opening night, which included some great Ghostbusters cosplay and images of the prints we first showed you last week, as well as the other art on display. Here’s a look:
When the tour stops at San Diego Comic-Con, which will be the fourth and final stop of the tour, it has been confirmed it will actually be inside San Diego Comic-Con. The art show has been assigned a booth on the exhibit floor, #1806, per the official website, which we have also confirmed with Gallery1988’s owner Jensen Karp. This means, those hoping to catch a glimpse of some Ghostbusters-inspired art will also need a badge.
The SDCC stop will have a “smaller selection” of prints available for sale, along with four anniversary tees to celebrate the event. You can view a sample of the prints and tees available in our previous post, and we’ll be sure to update everyone as soon as more information is announced.
Are you planning to make this a stop on your exhibit hall course at SDCC? let us know in the comments.
