Either way you “spin” it, the panel for Science Channel’s The Unexplained Files on Friday July 24 at 7pm in Room 7AB – which was already pretty awesome – just got more awesome with the announcement of Linda Blair, star of The Exorcist, joining the list of guests attending. Blair will be on-hand to discuss the real story of the exorcism that inspired the of the classic 1973 horror film, as well as her experiences on the set.

Other topics include the location of a possible paranormal superhighway with Paranormal Freelance Investigator and Comic-Con veteran Chuck Zukowski, and evidence of the Mexican Chupacabra with Crytozoologist Ken Gerhard. Author and supernatural historian Troy Taylor will join in on the exorcism discussion.

To add to the awesomeness, they will be giving out “exclusive prizes and collector items will be given to a few lucky audience members”.  See you Friday…

COMIC-CON INTERNATIONAL WITH THE UNEXPLAINED FILES

(New York) – Science Channel announced today that Comic-Con International audiences will get an exclusive, first-look at the sophomore season of the network’s hit series THE UNEXPLAINED FILES. On Friday, July 25 at 7 PM PT in Room 7AB, Science Channel panelists will reveal never-before-seen footage from the series, and share eye-witness accounts of strange happenings including the location of a possible paranormal superhighway, evidence of the Mexican Chupacabra, and the real story of the exorcism that inspired the film The Exorcist. In addition, Linda Blair, star of the 1973 classic film The Exorcist, will also joinTHE UNEXPLAINED FILES panel to discuss her experiences on the set of the film.

Featured panelists appearing for THE UNEXPLAINED FILES include: Ken Gerhard, a Crytozoologist who will speak to the “Mexican Chupcabra” phenomenon; Troy Taylor, a noted author, writer and supernatural historian who has studied exorcisms extensively; and Chuck Zukowski, Paranormal Freelance Investigator and Comic- Con veteran who has been researching and investigating the paranormal superhighway for nearly 30 years.
