With change, comes… more convenient change? Just as Comic-Con International promised, this year of WonderCon features a free shuttle service March 25 – 27, 2016, making it even easier than ever before to get around the convention, especially now that it’s moved to Los Angeles. Don’t want to pay for parking? You don’t need to, with a shuttle running basically all day.
There will be three separate routes that will pick up and drop off at various hotels in the CCI hotel block, to and from the Los Angeles Convention Center. From Comic-Con International’s site, here’s a look at the routes:
- Route A (Pink) stops at the LA Hotel and the Omni Hotel
- Route B (Green) stops at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel and the Sheraton Los Angeles Downtown Hotel.
- Route C (Blue) stops at the JW Marriott, Ritz Carlton, Courtyard Marriott, Residence Inn by Marriott, and the LUXE City Center (all 5 of these hotels use the same stop, curbside at Olympic Blvd.)
And here’s a look at the shuttle map:
The shuttle will run from 10AM on Friday through to 12:01AM on Saturday morning, before picking up service again at 8AM on Saturday and running through 1AM into Sunday morning. Finally, service on Sunday will run from 8AM-7PM.
If you haven’t already purchased your badge for WonderCon, the schedule is starting to shape up nicely. Already we have word that Orphan Black and iZombie will be in attendance. However, badges are selling out quickly – Saturday single-day badges sold out yesterday, but you can still purchase Friday or Sunday single-day badges, or a combined Friday-Sunday badge.
You can find more information on Comic-Con International’s website.
