Although ABC’s Once Upon a Time won’t be making the trek to WonderCon this year, there’s one fan-favorite genre series that looks like it will: iZombie.
The CW series from creator Rob Thomas about a medical resident turned into a zombie is currently in its second season, and made its WonderCon debut last year in Anaheim. When asked by @RandomPenguin on Twitter about whether or not they’d be returning this year, star Robert Buckley (Mayor Lilywhite) replied, “You better believe it”.

Although Warner Bros. has yet to confirm, and no other cast have officially announced anything, series star Rose McIver did mention on Twitter this week that she will be doing “a couple of conventions this year”, making it a good bet that she’ll be on hand.
Looks like I will be doing a couple of conventions this year…. excited to meet some of you! Thanks as always for all the #iZombie love xx

Last year’s WonderCon panel featured McIver, Buckley, Malcolm Goodwin, Rahul Kohli, David Anders, and executive producers Thomas and Diane Ruggiero-Wright – so expect WB to pull out all of the stops again this year.
