We promised three WonderPosts this week, and we’re delivering. Because we don’t like keeping attendees waiting.
Here’s a look at the news you might have missed:
- Artist Jerry Gaylord can be found at Artist Alley Table C-08 at WonderCon Anaheim 2017. For those interested in commissions, you can find more information on his site.
- If you’re a DC cosplayer, take note:Â there will be a DC Cosplayer Photo Shoot on Saturday, April 1 at 12PM. You can find more information on Facebook.
- Jenny Parks Illustration will be exhibiting at WonderCon.
- Colorist Raymund Lee showed off a piece of artwork from Zenescope artist Ace Continuado, who will selling his art at WonderCon.
- The Indie Game Alliance will be at WonderCon, hosting demos, tournaments, playtesting, and more.
- Cascade Games, which traditionally run the trading card games at CCI’s events, will also be returning.
- Art historian and writer Kim Munson revealed on her website that she will be at WonderCon this year.
- Artist Justin White shared on Facebook that the final cover for Forbidden Tales Vol. 2 will debut at WonderCon this year.
- Ghoulish Bunny Studios, which features “whimsically creepy cute art” from Diana Levin and Shawn Givens, will be exhibiting at both WonderCon and San Diego Comic-Con.
- Reggie Bannister, best known for his roles in Phantasm and Bubba Ho-Tep, will be making an appearance at WonderCon this year, along with actress Gigi Bannister (who has starred in Bubba Ho-Tep, The Ghastly Love of Johnny X, and more).
- Speaking of horror – you’ll definitely want to check out the Hollywood Horror Museum booth at both WonderCon and San Diego Comic-Con this year.
- Our plushmaker friends at BeeFy & Co. will be exhibiting at both WonderCon and San Diego Comic-Con.
- Love Disney pins? My-D Pins & Collectibles has you covered at WonderCon.
- Rooster Comics and Collectibles will be exhibiting at WonderCon.
- James Jones of Mythical Legends Publishing showed off a new banner they’ll be debuting at their booth at WonderCon 2017.
- Epic Chaos, a comic about a girl who wakes up next to her best friend’s doppleganger, will be exhibiting at Small Press Table SP-44.
- Need a comic graded? Good news, as CBCS Comics will be exhibiting.
- Not only will Joie Brown’s Heavenly Kibble Guradian Corgi 3Â be released at WonderCon, but the first 50 issues will be individually numbered and signed as well. So snag one at the convention for the corgi lover in your life.
- The Greater Los Angeles Writers Society will be exhibiting at Booth #1401 this year, where you’ll be able to grab books from several GLAWS authors.
- Presumably over in the fan booths, you’ll be able to find the Los Angeles Dumbledore’s Army, to geek out with fellow PotterHeads.
- Eye Scry Designs, which features clothes, tapestries, flags, and more, can be found on the show floor of WonderCon.
- Illustrator Heather Curfman is heading to the WonderCon show floor.
- Comic artist and illustrator Erin Lee will also be exhibiting.
- As will the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles.
- Although they’ve skipped the last few years, Exhibit A Press (which publishes Supernatural Law) is returning to exhibit in Artist Alley, where they’ll have “the Supernatural Law trades, Batton’s monster cameos, Jackie’s Comic Book People books, and more”.
- Illustrator Caleb King can be found at Artist Alley C-64.
- Artist James Morris will be stationed at WonderCon Booth #902.
