Congratulations on surviving Hotelpocalypse (or, well, the first part anyway – have any of us really survived until we know for sure we’re not sleeping on the concrete or Tijuana?). Hopefully, onPeak is processing our forms as we speak. While we wait, which we hear is the hardest part, let’s look at a few announcements that came out while we were trying to avoid sleeping in the Hall H line.

- Writer/illustrator Jarrett Krosoczka mentioned he’ll be at SDCC this year in a Twitter exchange.

- Jennifer Nolan, who creates adorable crochet creations, posted a couple of SDCC exclusives she’ll have available at her booth.

- Lego Ninjago creator Tommy Andreasen told a Twitter follower he hopes to reveal the season 8 title of the series, as well as an extended clip at SDCC on Sunday.
SDCC is on Sunday July 23.

- Alex Ahad, Creative Director for Skullgirls, announced in his own Twitter exchange that the Skullgirls will be at SDCC this year, potentially at Small Press Table #1635.

- In addition to the previously announced Princesses #2 comic, Amy Mebberson also told fans that she will be offering Disney Princess Comic Strips Collection Vol. 1 and 2 at SDCC, as well as other conventions.

- Mark Julio announced he will be running the 16th annual San Diego TEKKEN Gaming Room at SDCC this year.

- While we’re still waiting for Mattel to announce this year’s SDCC exclusives and process, they did announce that Mattel vouchers cannot be used at SDCC.

- Our friends at The Ninjabot announced that they will release their third ORIGIN series at SDCC this year (and if you haven’t checked out the first two, we highly recommend).There will be a pre-order for San Diego Comic-Con, and we’ll have details soon.

- The universe aligned for writer/cartoonist Alison Wilgus, who will be in San Diego for a wedding, which gives her the opportunity to attend SDCC to promote her new book.

In the very near future, we’ll know where we’re staying and where we’re parking. We’ll report on those topics as we hear about them. For the lucky San Diego locals who take the trolleys, don’t forget to buy your MTS SDCC block pass when it becomes available. We know the waiting is hard, but it’s worth it in the end.
