Under the Tents: Yuri Lowenthal, Camilla d’Errico, Flat Bonnie, Scott Blair, Ash Evans

There’s no rest for the weary this time of year when it comes to San Diego Comic-Con. This edition of Under the Tents has more great SDCC news and exclusives from artists like Camilla d’Errico, Scott Blair, Bling Squared Cute Glass, and a lot more.

Here’s a look at what you might have missed:

  • Surreal artist Camilla d’Errico’s latest painting reminds her of how eco-conscious we need to be. If it moves you like it does her, you can find it along with her Beekachu at Booth #4723 at SDCC this year.

  • Headlocked Comics announced via Twitter they will be at SDCC this year along with four guests (not yet announced), signings, and some reunions. If you’re into a pro-wrestling themed comic with cover art by Jerry “The King” Lawler, you’ll want to check them out at Booth #1901.

  • If you’re looking for artist Eric Koda, you’ll find him in Artists Alley at Table #DD-09 under his new banner, which he posted to his Twitter feed.

  • Horror/sci-fi author Kasey Pierce will be at Booth #2306 with Source Point Press and is bringing some of her hard-to-find work with her.

  • Artist Todd Nauck posted the first of four sketches to his Twitter feed he is submitting to be raffled off at Gabe Eltaeb’s Comic Kickoff Party 5.

  • Artist Anthony Marques took to Instagram to display comps of the Charlie’s Angels variant he helped create, which he’ll have with him at SDCC.

  • Prolific actor Yuri Lowenthal is hoping to come to SDCC this year, but with his extensive résumé, it could be for just about anything. We’ll keep our eyes open to see just if he will be at SDCC.

  • Artist Scott Blair’s latest sketch cover featuring Steve Rogers is as American as apple pie. You can find it, and him, in Artists Alley at Table #EE-11.

  • Scott Blair also got a little meta with his Thanos Infinity Sketch Cover he’ll also have at Table #EE-11 in Artists Alley.

  • The Octopodes are coming! Octopodes are invading Bling Squared Cute Glass’s Booth #E-05 at SDCC. There aren’t too many of them, so if you’re interested, get there early.

  • Artist Ash Evans is feeling very lucky to have a booth at SDCC this year (as you may have read in our previous Under the Tents). She’ll have these new Lucky Cat pins to bring with her to Booth #3750.

  • KRS Comics will be back at SDCC this year with Scott’s Collectables, and they’re bringing with them these three black-suit Spider-Man variants by Gabriel Dell’Otto and Lucio Parillo. Find these and more at Booth #5559.

  • KRS Comics’ website also lists some guests we’ll find at Booth #5559 this year. Look for Natali Sanders, Jay Anacleto, Warren Louw, Tyler Kirkham, and Mike Mayhew to appear throughout SDCC.

  • When you visit Tyler Kirkham at KRS’s Booth #5559, you’ll find this Danger Girl Gallery Edition exclusive. It’s limited to only 500 copies, so get there fast.

  • RAAAAWR! Raaaawr rawr rawr. If you’re not from Kashyyyk, that means these wookie plushes by Flat Bonnie are hitching a ride to SDCC with DKE Toys. Look for them at Booth #5045.

  • You can find actor Jennifer Lynn Warren, best known for her work on American Horror Story: Coven as Borquita LaLaurie, in the Autograph area in Sails Pavilion.
