WonderPost: Squidbrains, Tom Hodges, Ethan Castillo, Jeff Pina

WonderCon is officially this week, and we’ve got lots of news for you from tons of artists, including Squidbrains, Tom Hodges, Ethan Castillo, and so much more. Want commissions? We got ’em. Want prints? We got ’em. Original art, on a post-it note? We’ve got that too!

Here’s a look at what you might have missed:

  • Good things come in small packages – like these Into the Spider-Verse original pieces from Ethan Castillo, done on a post-it note. You can grab them at Artists Alley A-54 this week.

  • Illustrator Carliefornya Art is heading to WonderCon this year, where she’ll have new prints, sketch zines, and maybe even original mini-paintings and holofoil prints, as well as taking commissions. Make sure to stop by Artists Alley D-48 to check it out.

  • Just how do you make The Iron Giant? Cartoonist Ron Tucker attempts to answer that age-old question in this print, which will be available at Small Press 16.

  • Artist Jeff Pina is bringing his own brand of magic to the convention this week, in the form of these Mermaidicorn pins, which are “part mermaid, part unicorn, all dreams!”. You can pick yours up first at Artists Alley F-58.

  • Bryan L Mon, who does a popular “What Shall I Draw Today?” series on Instagram, showed off several original art pieces he’ll be bringing to WonderCon this week. You can catch him in Small Press-80.

  • Artist Tom Hodges is going to be very busy during WonderCon this year. You can find him at Artists Alley A-16, where he’ll be doing commission busy sketches for $80, and selling art prints, original art, and more.

  • Celebrate the Filipino dish Pancit with this print from Paola Olivares, available at Artists Alley B-36.

  • Geek lifestyle brand Hero Within is bringing a WonderCon exclusive Captain Marvel shirt this year, which you can grab at Booth #2009 or #2087.

  • Artist James Marsano is bringing this 11″x17″ print to Artists Alley D-21.
