Funko Skipping WonderCon Anaheim 2024

While Funko has had a large (and arguably the largest) presence on the show floor for the last two years, we have confirmed that Funko and its brands (which include LoungeFly, Mondo, Funko Games, and more) will not be attending WonderCon Anaheim this month.

Last year, the company had gone bigger than ever, with their “Wondrous” Comic Con exclusives, which included more than 20 Funko Pop!s, Sodas, Loungefly bags, shirts, and more — all showcased in a giant, circus-themed booth.

This certainly isn’t the first time that Funko has skipped the convention, as they didn’t attend the con from 2017-2019 either (and their appearance in 2016 was marked only by their Powered by Funko subscription boxes).

While this news will surely disappoint some fans, there’s still plenty of fun to be had at WonderCon. Expect the official exhibitor list to be out any day now, and panel announcements likely coming next Friday. As for what will fill the Funko-sized hole of the exhibit floor… We’ll have to wait to find out.

Funko’s next convention will be C2E2.
