The Lumpia legend continues! For the third year in a row, Kid Heroes Productions is bringing the Deep Fried Universe back to WonderCon Anaheim.
What started as an indie action-comedy has grown into a full-fledged phenomenon, with Lumpia and Lumpia with a Vengeance inspiring comics, collectibles, and a hungry fanbase. This year, the team returns to Small Press #SP-69, where they’ll be dishing out WonderCon exclusives, signings, a special offsite, and more.

Kid Heroes Productions has a few final WonderCon debuts to show off, fresh out of the oven. Leading the lineup is the Lumpia Animated hard enamel pin, featuring artwork by LeRoid David. This 1.5″ pin is a limited edition of 100 and will be available at WonderCon for $15. Fans of MIX-MIX can also pick up the MIX-MIX Logo soft enamel pin, a 1.5″ design limited to 100 pieces, for $10.
For those looking to add some Lumpia and MIX-MIX style to their wardrobe, two exclusive snapback caps will also be available. The Original Lumpia Snapback, featuring art by LeRoid David, is limited to 100 pieces and priced at $40. The MIX-MIX Snapback, designed by Ardie Aquino, is even rarer, with only 50 available for $40 each.
Attendees can also celebrate the release of The Ones and Twos #1 with a special release party on Saturday, March 29. The exclusive event will be at the Yost Theatre (307 North Spurgeon Street) in Santa Ana, about a 20 minute drive from the convention center, but WonderCon badge holders get free entry all night long.
Kick off the night with a free reception from 8:30pm-10pm, then stay for the after-hours party from 10pm-2am, featuring DJ Icy Ice and a high-energy celebration.
And finally, the Lumpia Deep Fried Universe takes center stage at WonderCon with an exciting panel on Sunday, March 30, from 2:30pm-3:30pm in Room North 100B. Fans of the Lumpia franchise and comic series won’t want to miss this deep dive into the latest expansion of the DFU (Deep Fried Universe), featuring the newest comic drop, The Ones and Twos, and the introduction of Mix-Mix, a multiracial task force of dessert-inspired anti-heroes.
The panel brings together creator Patricio Ginelsa (writer/director), Brian “beee” Bello (artist), Lauren Lola (co-writer), and Cesar Cueva (artist), with Winston Emano (mano Y mano Media) moderating the discussion. Special guest DJ Icy Ice (World Famous Beat Junkies) joins the conversation as well. Attendees can expect a free print giveaway and special surprises.

The Lumpia Deep Fried Universe is cooking up something new at WonderCon, and MIX-MIX #1 is ready to be served, featuring an exclusive Ube Foil Variant Cover by Cesar Cueva. This limited edition of 50 copies is available for $25, while an ultra-rare Metal Ube Edition (with only 10 copies) will be up for grabs for $60.
MIX-MIX introduces a new recipe for chaos in Fogtown. After saving Lumpia Squad Day, the once-villainous MIX-MIX crew has been reheated and repackaged as the city’s newest government task force. But can these former troublemakers really be trusted to help fugitive Philbert on his latest mission, or will they turn up the heat in all the wrong ways?

The next member of the Legendary Lumpia Squad is heading to WonderCon. Following last year’s debut of the KUYA figure, Kid Hero Productions is teaming up once again with Figure X to bring you the next exclusive in their designer toy series—ATE (BIG SISTER). This 4″ handcrafted and hand-painted designer figure captures the spirit of the Lumpia Squad. Available exclusively at WonderCon 2025, fans will have the chance to grab this limited debut edition, with only 25 pieces available for $40. For collectors looking for something even rarer, a Limited Black and White Edition of just 5 pieces will be available for $75.
