WonderCon Anaheim 2025 is just around the corner, and there’s no shortage of exciting updates for the big weekend. From legendary creators to rising stars, this year’s event is packed with exclusive reveals, fresh artwork, signings, afterparties, and more.
Let’s take a look at the news you might have missed:
- Actor Bex Taylor-Klaus took to Instagram to confirm their Dungeons & Dragons roleplay podcast, The Wandering Path, will be making an appearance at the con. While we’ll have to stay tuned for more details, we’re ready to play.
- Have you seen our exciting list of artists offering pre-con commissions? Well, you can add Steven E Gordon to that list (or rather, we can) — but he’s also got a new HolliWould print to celebrate the con. Head to #A-10 in Artist Alley to pick it up.
The end of this month I will be at #WonderCon in #Anaheim once again exhibiting at table A-10 in Artists Alley.
I created a new #HolliWould print for the occasion. And, if you’d like to get on my commission list early feel free to reach out to me (no need to be at the Con – mailing is an option).

- And while we can’t add him just yet, artist and cartoonist Ryan McCarthy confirmed he will also be offering pre-show commissions, so keep your eyes peeled. And head over to #E-41 at the con to say hi in person.
Later this month, I’ll once again be at the WonderCon artist alley in Anaheim. Sure to be another big show!
I’ll be posting about accepting some pre-show commissions soon.

- Just in case you’ve been living under a rock, Val Hochberg is one of our favorite artists here at the UBlog. And she’s been busy creating mini original artworks, available for sale at Booth #C-60 for $45 each. Once they’re gone, they’re gone — so don’t wait to pick up your favorite little cuties.
- While there’s a lot of things we’re excited about at WonderCon Anaheim this year, the highlight for us at the moment is Jim Lee and Todd McFarlane’s appearance. The legendary artists will be in attendance on Saturday, March 29 for a spotlight panel covering their respective careers. Lee will also be doing signings at the CGC Comics booth (witnessed, authenticated), as well as tabling in Artist Alley with Lucas for his series Wallow from 11am-12pm. Then he’ll be doing a paid solo signing from 12pm-2pm, with pricing still to be announced. And of course, you can also try for the joint Jim Lee and Todd McFarlane signing, available in the Exclusives Portal.
- Don’t leave your opportunity to pick up Jonathan Chance’s Tales of Chance to chance. You can grab new t-shirt designs inspired by classic EC Comics / Creepshow anthology comics at WonderCon #C-19, where you’ll also find deals on signed copies of the graphic novel Never by Night graphic novel + horror tee combo.
- Ohana means no one gets left behind… alive. Sven Smash has a brand new take on Lilo & Stitch with exclusive coin drops at WonderCon Booth #1360, including this Kratos x Stitch collab with Levi Cleeman.
- The Jinja Ninja is celebrating the return of Daredevil to our television screens with a new piece of artwork, which will be available at Booth #2210.
I put the final touches on the Daredevil piece today. You can see this and more original art of mine when you visit my booth 2210 at @WonderCon in Anaheim from 3/28 – 3/30! - Do you love girls drawin’ girls? Well good news, because Girls Drawin’ Girls (a group of women who enjoy creating pinup art) will be hosting a panel at WonderCon on Saturday, March 29 from 7pm-8pm in Room 209. Stop by to hear panelists Tricia Buchanan-Benson, Aisling Harbert-Phillips, and others discuss Women Artists and the Current State of Entertainment Art” in a panel moderated by Melody Severns.
- While the full WonderCon programming schedule should be out this week (likely on Friday, as is tradition), we know where you can find Gary Sassaman, former Director of multiple departments at Comic-Con International, including Director of Programming and Director of Print and Publications. Catch his “Tales From My Spinner Rack! LIVE!” panel on Saturday, March 29 at 3pm in Room 209, where he’ll be joined by WonderCon Special Guest Mark Evanier (Kirby: King of Comics, Groo the Wanderer) to discuss “The World’s Greatest Comic Magazine!”, including The Fantastic Four‘s “first steps”.
- It’s not a con without some adorable crocheted critters, and Barbara H is filling that void at WonderCon this year. Be sure to follow her on Bluesky to see when these adorable cuties are dropped to try to claim them for yourself.
Rainy dreary day so looking forward to #WonderCon at the end of the month. It is always fun and a lot less stressful than #SDCC made more goodies for #artdrop #crochet

- Artist Nick Kremenek is working to get to WonderCon — but he needs your help. He currently has a GoFundMe to help get him to the con, and for every dollar donated, you’ll also receive a gift certificate for his online art store.
So here I am again, hat in my hands, asking for your support. I want to sell my art at the upcoming WonderCon convention later this month but lack the funds to make it happen. Your donation will receive gift cards on my art store & my profound thanks! https://t.co/ReEwkz31wd

Plus, she hints at a special guest. So stop by #SP-79 in Small Press to say hello (and bring her a coffee).

- The feline-love doesn’t stop there though, as Whimsy and Doodles showed off some Dungeons & Dragons classes reimagined with kitty cats. So gather your party and set off for #E-53 to pick up this cute sticker sheet.
- Art by Katee will be making her first appearance at WonderCon, and she’s stocked up on blank covers to prepare for the con.
