Whelp, It’s definitely March. I can tell because WonderCon news is coming in like a lion. And by “lion” I mean steadily, stealthily, and with a hungry look in its eyes. I worry that if I don’t get this out quickly the lion might pounce and make a snack of me, so let’s get right down to business. We found a few panels you won’t want to miss, plus lots of great art that will be for sale, and a whole gaggle of voice actors you’ll want to meet!
Let’s take a look at the news
- Kid Hero Productions and the Lumpia Movie have been staples for several years now and they are not about to miss WonderCon 2025. They are promising a panel with guests and a giveaway. Exact details will be announced soon. They nailed all our favorite things in one post: “deep fried,” “special guests”, and “free!”
Proud to announce that @WonderCon will be hosting a LUMPIA Deep Fried Universe panel featuring special guests, announcements, and a FREE giveaway ‼️

- Writer and best-selling author Joshua Pruett (Gyro and the Argonauts, The Last Comics on Earth) has been hard at work for over 25 years and is thrilled that it’s all led him to WonderCon. The Emmy-award winning writer will be set up with his books and graphic novels during the event.
Realizing I’ve been working toward THIS moment for 25 years! See you all at #wondercon w books, audio books & graphic novels!

- Our good friends over at Toddland have been quietly planning their WonderCon releases and while they are not quite ready to show them off yet, they did assure those of us who will be stuck at home during the event that everything will also be available online. Bless their hearts! (And you KNOW we’ll have all the details for you when they are ready for their reveals!)
We’ll have all new stuff releasing online and at Wondercon! Nothing as specific “at Wondercon only” items.

- The Art of Jeprox has “made it official” in an Instagram post that they will be at WonderCon 2025, in Artist Alley at booth #A-19 to be exact. You can expect to find some brand new prints there, as well as lots of other goodies.
- Digital creators Otter Rock Group know what people like, and people REALLY like Marvel’s Jeff the Shark. Here’s a sticker featuring the toothy pal sporting some serious tactical gear. This is just the beginning of what they have planned for WonderCon, according to their Instagram post.
- Mystics, wizards, warlocks, and mages will all be able to find some of their favorite and finest wares at WonderCon thanks to the brand Celtic Moonlighting. This wandering band of merchants will be wending their way to Anaheim this spring as part of their packed schedule.
- Online comic book retailer Unknown Comics will be hosting voice actors from the animated series X-Men 97 at their booth during WonderCon. Guests will include Cal Dodd (Wolverine), Catherine Disher (Jean Grey), Matthew Waterson (Magneto), Lenore Zann (Rogue), JP Karliak (Morph), Holly Chou (Jubilee), AJ LoCascio (Gambit), Gui Agustini (Roberto), Isaac Robinson-Smith (Bishop), and Ross Marquand (Professor X). Keep your mutant eyes on their Instagram for all the details.
- Artist Kate Crawford is bringing a slew of painted comic covers with her to WonderCon. Each one-of-a-kind piece was created using archival inks and acrylic paints. Each of them will be available to purchase at the show.
- We’re not the only ones counting down the days to WonderCon! Powers Squared, the independent comic book about superpowered twins, is also keeping track. You can find them in the Small Press area at SP-5.
26 Days until WonderCon 2025 and Powers Squared will be in Small Press SP-5. Come find us. Be there and #BeSquared. #wondercon #indiecomics #comicbooks

- Shannon of Fiat Lux Illustrations has a busy March planned but is capping it off with a trip to WonderCon where they will be set up with their outta-this-world prints and stickers.
- Award award-winning creator of Sonambulo, Rafael Navarro, recently announced on Instagram that his 2025 tour will make a stop in Anaheim. Seek him out at Small Press booth #SP-86.
- And finally today, the California Browncoats have a whole year of celebrations planned for the 20th Anniversary of their beloved Serenity. In addition to a very special panel (perhaps with a familiar face?), they will also have these cute buttons available at the show.
