Can you feel it? San Diego Comic-Con 2025 is officially next month. While still not this month, it’s still a significant milestone in the 51-week wait for that magical moment we share each year. It also means a lot more SDCC 2025 news is coming, so let’s break down some of the latest and greatest from our favorite Comic-Con personalities.
Here’s a look at what you might have missed:
- When you send your order to the printing company but forget to have them sign an NDA, you get teases like this one from Super7’s printers for a set of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trading cards they’re bringing to SDCC this year.
- Prolific comic book artist and writer Megan Huang will be showing off her boobies and other favorite animals in her sticker sheets she’ll have with her at San Diego Comic-Con this year. Wait, I was referring to blue-footed boobies, the birds native to the Mexican Pacific coast and Galapagos Islands. What did you think I was talking about? That’s why that capybara is side-eyeing you.
I made my first ever sticker sheets! Featuring what are in my opinion some of the world's top animals! Plan to bring them to sdcc in a couple months pic.twitter.com/6VLmyZTh9c

- Educator/author Angel Halo Chang will be back at SDCC this year with her family favorite “Discovering Our Unique Super Powers” kids and family workshop.
- Comic book writer and author Paul Cornell announced he’ll be involved in a whopping six panels during San Diego Comic-Con this year, one of which promises to be an “enormous reveal.” We can’t wait to see what Paul’s going to unveil at the con this year.
I’m going to be doing *six* panels at San Diego Comic Con, and there’s going to be an enormous reveal of a new project. #SDCC

- Local San Diego author/publisher TJ Shevlin is very excited about how well his SDCC 2025 panel is coming together, but he could use a couple more panelists to round it out. If writer Kat Calamia and artist Phil Falco still have some room on their schedule, maybe they would be a good fit?
As for my approved #SDCC panel… This might be the biggest #comics panel I've ever done. I have 4 MAJOR panelists confirmed, but i need 2 more. I would love for at least one to be a female creator. Gotta get everything buttoned up by the 6thAny help, post sharing, or connections is appreciated!

- If you’re downtown around the Gaslamp Quarter during SDCC this year, you might find some adorable crochet critters hidden around town from Skarsgard Fans.
Working on the crochet critters for #SDCC #artdrop (random acts of crochet kindness) Had fun doing this last year. Left around Gaslamp and near the convention center. Still need to finish Gudetama (lazy egg). #crochet #SDCC2025 pic.twitter.com/qojllaJYMM

- Glass artists Bling Squared Cute Glass teased some of the cuteness they’re adding to Small Press Table #E-05 on the Exhibit Hall floor during San Diego Comic-Con this year.
- Activist/entertainer Jan Lucanus shared a Proud Papa moment about his son, Jet’s, latest fan-produced Spawn comic. The second issue of Jet’s Dog Spawn was given the thumbs-up from Spawn creator Todd McFarlane himself, and will be available at SDCC this year.
- If you thought your high school English or history class was boring, you didn’t have teachers like these, who use comics as a tool to illustrate ethnic studies in their courses. Look for their work in this year’s Comic Arts Conference Poster Session during SDCC this year.
- Get to freelance toy designer Naoko Mullally’s Booth #5550 early to find these beautiful original paintings and more amazing art during Comic-Con.
Just finished my last piece for #mermay2025 I will be bringing bunch of new original paintings including these to SDCC! @SD_Comic_Con @Comic_Con #watercolor pic.twitter.com/cOV3FJ6sxk

- One of our favorite artists here at the UBlog and just all-around good person Chris Maze is bringing one of his most powerful pieces, “A Touch of Color,” to Booth #2103 in the Exhibit Hall during San Diego Comic-Con this year. This 5″x7″ ink wash and watercolor on Strathmore mixed media paper will be available along with his exclusives with a price yet to be determined.
