Collider Bringing Together Rob Reiner and Paul Feig for “Directors on Directing” Panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2025

Collider is once again returning to Hall H with a celebration of the visionaries behind the camera, for their now-annual “Directors on Directing” panel. Set for Thursday, July 24 at 2:45pm in Hall H, this live conversation will bring two acclaimed filmmakers to the stage for an in-depth look at the creative decisions, career-defining moments, and behind-the-scenes stories that shape the films we love. This year’s panel will be moderated by Collider Editor-in-Chief Steve Weintraub and features two powerhouse guests: Rob Reiner and Paul Feig.

Known for his remarkable range behind the camera, Rob Reiner has directed some of the most enduring films of the last four decades, including This Is Spinal Tap, Stand by Me, The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, and Misery. With Spinal Tap II: The End Continues set to release on September 12, it seems likely fans will get a sneak peek into the sequel to the classic mockumentary.

Joining him is Paul Feig, whose career began in front of the camera before launching into cult-favorite television with Freaks and Geeks, and big-screen comedies like Bridesmaids, Spy, A Simple Favor, and the upcoming The Housemaid (releasing December 25).

The panel promises “exclusive footage” and “surprises”.
