SYFY’s “Revival” Heading to San Diego Comic-Con

The dead are rising — and they’re headed for San Diego Comic-Con. The new SYFY adaptation of Revival, based on the hit Image Comics series by Tim Seeley and Mike Norton, is making its undead debut at the con.

Revival is set in a small rural town where the dead mysteriously return to life — not as zombies, but as fully functioning members of society — and resurrection comes with a price. With the town on lockdown, secrets begin to seep out. The series premiered on June 12 and is set to finish its first season run on July 31, so fans could definitely be treated to an early look at pieces of the season finale — and it certainly sounds like cast will be in attendance.

Co-showrunner Luke Boyce confirmed the news today, with the panel set for Friday, July 25 from 10:30am-11:30am in Room 6A. Joining Boyce and his co-showrunner Aaron B. Koontz will be stars Melanie Scrofano (Wynonna Earp), Romy Weltman, David James Elliott, and Andy McQueen, as well as Seeley and Norton.

Fans will get an exclusive sneak peek into an upcoming episode.

There will also be an exclusive autograph signing at the Image Comics Booth #1915 on Friday, July 25 at 12pm, featuring a free exclusive Revival show print by Mike Norton. Stay tuned for details on how to attend.
