Kid Heroes & ‘Lumpia’ Returns to WonderCon Anaheim 2026 with Exclusives, More [UPDATE March 19]

We hope you’re hungry for more, because the Lumpia legend continues. Kid Heroes Productions is returning to WonderCon Anaheim in 2026 with more from the “Lumpia Deep Fried Universe”, bringing the indie action-comedy franchise back to Small Press #SP-67.

Throughout the weekend, fans can expect new “Lumpia Deep Fried Universe” releases, collaborative projects, signings, and a panel.

[UPDATE March 19]

Kid Heroes Productions is teaming up with Apl.de.Ap of the Black Eyed Peas for a special WonderCon debut celebrating the 20th anniversary of “Bebot,” a track that’s found new life thanks to this year’s viral “Filipina baddie” trend. The Bebot 1.5″ enamel pin, designed by LeRoid David, lets fans wear that energy loud and proud, featuring a soft enamel finish with black plating. It’s limited to 100 pieces and available for $15 at #SP-67 in Small Press.

They’re also bringing a bold new comic release to the show with Anito: Book of Entropy #1, which imagines Filipino mythology through a dynamic, modern lens. Created by Benjamin DeGuzman and Jackie Marzan, the issue will have two WonderCon-exclusive variants: an acetate cover limited to 50 copies for $30, and an embossed metal edition limited to 20 for $60.

The series will also be spotlighted during the panel “Filipino Mythologies of Future Past” on Sunday, March 29 at 11am in Room 207, where a lineup of creators including Benjamin DeGuzman (Anito: Book of Entropy), Ebony Soy (Maloles: The Reckoning), Joe Arciaga (DK New Icons), Earl Baylon (Doug Marcaida’s Lineage), and Herbert De Leon (Alamat) will explore new interpretations of myth, heroism, and storytelling. And, of course, they’re serving up a free print giveaway available for attendees.

[UPDATE March 17]

Kid Heroes Productions is serving up a crossover-inspired exclusive with Giant-Size Lumpia #2, celebrating three Lumpia With a Vengeance cast members who also appear in a “wonder-ful” and “marvel-ous” new TV series. The WonderCon-exclusive release, featuring art by Kevin Paez and beee, is limited to 50 copies for $25 each, with an embossed metal edition of 20 also available for $60.

Fans can also catch cast signings throughout the weekend, including:

[UPDATE March 10]

Up first, Kid Heroes Productions is celebrating the legendary Filipino band The Eraserheads with their first WonderCon 2026 exclusive: Eraserheads: Combo on the Run #1. Inspired by the upcoming theatrical film of the same name, the comic imagines an unlikely group of rock musicians who come together to create record-breaking music, perform super-heroic feats, and battle zombies along the way.

The WonderCon-exclusive variant features artwork by Geebo Vigonte and Raymund Lee and will be available in a limited edition of 100 copies for $25, as well as a metal edition limited to 25 copies for $70 — and you can pre-order online now for pick-up at WonderCon Small Press #SP-67.

The team will also debut a new Lumpia with a Vengeance Emoji enamel pin at the show. The 1.5″ black nickel translucent hard enamel pin, featuring artwork by LeRoid David, will be available in a limited edition of 100 for $15, with a $10 pre-order option for convention pickup.
