Get ready to rock. AMC is bringing the rockstar Lestat de Lioncourt on the road to give fans a front-row seat to his rockstar era, in a special one night only live event on June 2 at the Beacon Theatre in New York City.
The evening will kick off with a screening of the premiere episode of The Vampire Lestat, followed by a live performance from Lestat himself (played by Sam Reid), featuring original music composed by Daniel Hart.
Joining Lestat on the “tour” are two sponsors: POM Wonderful (who San Diego Comic-Con attendees may remember also helped sponsor the “Streets of Immortality” offsite in 2023), and Fender Musical Instruments Corporation. POM will have in-universe ads featuring Lestat promoting a certain ruby red drink… and this time, it’s POM.
As previously announced, Fender will also be debuting four custom Player II Modified Stratocaster guitars (the Fender® Limited Edition LeStrat Stratocaster® HSS) throughout the season.
“Interview with the Vampire has one of the most devoted fandoms in television, and this season’s campaign is built for them. The Beacon event is one of many touchpoints designed to celebrate the deep connection they have to these characters and the world they love,” said Kim Granito, Chief Marketing Officer, AMC Global Media. “We are thrilled to collaborate with POM and Fender to further elevate the Vampire Lestat’s rock star persona. These partnerships are another example of Content Room’s commitment to creating fan-driven opportunities that connect brands authentically with the stories and shows audiences crave.”
The event will be free for fans and available on a limited basis beginning May 6 at midnight ET (9pm PT). Note: This is typical 1iota, in which you will request a ticket, and find out at a later date if you were selected.
The Vampire Lestat — the upcoming third season for the series, previously titled Interview with the Vampire, which premires on June 7 on AMC and AMC+ — also stars Jacob Anderson, Assad Zaman, Eric Bogosian, Delainey Hayles and Jennifer Ehle. The new season will see Lestat in his rock star era, while being haunted by “muses” from his past.
