“Super Troopers 3” Pulling Over at San Diego Comic-Con 2026

Prepare to be arrested, because it sounds like Super Troopers 3 may be pulling over at San Diego Comic-Con this summer.

Steve Lemme, a member of the Broken Lizard comedy troupe and one of the stars and writers behind the Super Troopers franchise, recently commented on Instagram that promotion for the upcoming comedy is starting. And when a fan suggested they head to San Diego Comic-Con, Lemme replied “we are”.

While that’s not an official panel confirmation just yet, it’s definitely a sign that we’re getting something for the film at the con this year.

The original 2001 cult comedy followed a group of wildly immature Vermont state troopers trying to save their station through questionable policing, pranks, and an alarming number of mustaches. The film has gone on to became a fan favorite, eventually leading to the crowd-funded sequel in 2018, which also hit San Diego Comic-Con that same year for an appearance.

The new film stars the Broken Lizard team of Lemme, Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Paul Soter, and Erik Stolhanske, as well as Brian Cox.

We had already predicted we’d be seeing Super Troopers 3 at the con this summer, as with an August 7 release date, it’s the perfect place for Broken Lizard to flash the lights and build hype.
