Martin Hsu San Diego Comic-Con 2026 Exclusives, Commissions, More [UPDATE June 10]

Martin Hsu is heading back to San Diego Comic-Con in 2026 to Booth #4530, and as always, his space tends to feel a little different from the rest of the exhibit floor. His work blends pop culture with softer, more emotional storytelling — whether that’s familiar characters reimagined through his style or original pieces that lean into the beauty of nature and quiet moments. It’s the kind of booth people come back to every year, and usually leave with something unexpected but treasured.

[UPDATE June 10]

San Diego Comic-Con news season is in full bloom. Artist Martin Hsu is kicking off his San Diego Comic-Con exclusives with a trio of “Sakura Wishes” pieces inspired by some of his favorite recent anime characters: Pochita from Chainsaw Man, Turbo Granny from Dan Da Dan, and Nezuko from Demon Slayer.

Pricing has not yet been announced, but original artwork and limited-edition prints will be available when they launch for pre-order next month on his webstore.

[UPDATE April 13]

He’s also opening up his commission list for SDCC 2026, and this year’s theme is “Happy Days.” Each original piece will feature fandom characters drawn in his signature style, set under cherry blossom trees, with a focus on something a little more calm, joyful, and grounded. Each 5″x7″ original commission will be created using graphite, watercolor, and metallic gold acrylic, and will be signed.

The list opens Tuesday, April 14 at 12pm PT, and you’ll need to email [email protected] to claim your spot, while they last. Pickup will be at Booth #4530 during SDCC, with shipping also available if needed.
