In celebration of the show’s history and the release of Z2’s official graphic novel account, WTF Is a Podcast, Marc Maron is joined by his longtime partner-in-podcasting Brendan McDonald and New York Times best-selling cartoonist Brian Box Brown (Andre the Giant, The He-Man Effect). 4:15PM-5:15PM: From Pitch to Pilot: Too Many Toons! – Some of the leading creative minds behind the scenes, behind the mic, and behind the designs of favorite animated characters and universes discuss the basics of breaking into the ever-changing animation ecosystem. A highly animated conversation features expert panelists Dan Povenmire (co-creator of Phineas and Ferb), Bryan O’Connell (Henson Studios), Ashleigh Crystal Hairston (voice actor and showrunner, The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish), Emily Brundige (founder of Lil’ Toughie Studios and creator of Strawberry Vampire), and Chelsea Blankenbaker (Flying Bark Productions). 7:15PM-8:15PM: Hollywood’s Love Affair with Fencing – Since movies first hit the big screen, audiences have always adored a swordsman, from Robin Hood, Zorro, and The Three Musketeers to the playful fencing fun in The Court Jester and The Princess Bride to the dazzling clashes of One Piece and the cinema-altering lightsaber battles in Star Wars. Today, the spotlight on fencing is growing again, particularly in the run-up to the 2028 Summer Olympics and the recent launch of the World Fencing League.
