Especially with panels, though, it’s helpful to know what else is in the panel room, as sure, your panel might be a walk-in by itself — but what if something major is right after it? And remember at SDCC the rooms are not cleared after each panel.

3:00PM-4:30PM: Directors on Directing
4:45PM-5:45PM: Inside the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art – Join moderator Keke Palmer for the “Inside the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art” on Thursday, July 23 in Hall H at 4:45pm for an insightful discussion and a sneak peek at upcoming museum content and film programming. Joining Palmer will be Seth Green and Matt Senreich of Stoopid Buddy Stoodios, Jim Lee, President and Chief Creative Officer of DC Comics, and Ryan Linkof, Senior Curator and Head of Film Programs for the Lucas Museum.
6:00PM-7:00PM: Brad Bird: My Cinematic Journey – Brad Bird will look back on his career, from The Iron Giant and The Incredibles to Ratatouille and Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, before offering fans an exclusive preview of his long-awaited animated feature, Ray Gunn. Expected to Appear: Brad Bird. Moderated by: Steven Weintraub (Collider).

12:30PM-1:45PM: Producers on Producers – This year’s panel features an impressive lineup of producers, including Simon Kinberg (The Martian, Logan, Deadpool), Andrew Form (A Quiet Place franchise, The Purge franchise), and Brad Fuller (A Quiet Place franchise, The Purge franchise). Moderated by Collider Editor-in-Chief Steven Weintraub, the discussion will explore what producers actually do throughout the filmmaking process, from developing scripts and securing financing to overseeing production and helping shepherd a film all the way to release.
