Collider Hosting “Showrunners on Showrunning” Panel with Greg Daniels, Damon Lindelof, and Kate Dippold at San Diego Comic-Con 2026

If you’ve ever watched your favorite TV series and wondered who actually keeps the whole thing running, Collider has a panel for you. The outlet is expanding its San Diego Comic-Con programming this year with the debut of “Showrunners on Showrunning,” a behind-the-scenes conversation exploring the people responsible for bringing television’s biggest hits to life.

The panel will feature Greg Daniels (The Office, Parks and Recreation, King of the Hill), Katie Dippold (Widow’s Bay), and Damon Lindelof (Lost, Watchmen, The Leftovers) as they pull back the curtain on what it really means to be a showrunner. Collider Editor-in-Chief Steven Weintraub will moderate the conversation.

This is a stacked lineup. Widow’s Bay is the best new TV show on this year (watch it, please; you will thank me later!), Damon Lindelof is the visionary behind some of the greatest television shows of all time, and Greg Daniels has an unmatched pedigree when it comes to comedy television.

The inclusion of Greg Daniels certainly makes me feel like he could also be a part of the NBC 100 celebrations at the con, as the network celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. We already know there is a 15th anniversary Grimm panel planned for Hall H as part of the festivities. Of course, he does have King of the Hill as well — but it feels too perfect not to include him on something for NBC.
