“The Vampire Lestat” Returns to San Diego Comic-Con 2026

The vampires are heading back to San Diego Comic-Con… and they’re moving on up, to Hall H.

The Vampire Lestat returns to the convention on Friday, July 24, for a Hall H panel from 12:30pm-1:15pm, bringing with it series stars Jacob Anderson, Assad Zaman, and Eric Bogosian, alongside creator and showrunner Rolin Jones, executive producers Mark Johnson and Hannah Moscovitch, and moderator Jacqueline Coley of Rotten Tomatoes.

Fresh off what AMC is calling the season’s jaw-dropping finale, the panel will look back at the third season, including highlights from The Vampire Lestat: One Night Only Live, featuring original songs by series composer Daniel Hart performed by Sam Reid as Lestat earlier this summer in New York.

Fans can also expect discussion of Lestat’s rock star era, his electrifying world tour, and the growing threat of the Great Conversion, which has left both vampires and humans grappling with the consequences of his rising influence.

The third season is currently airing on AMC+, and although no news has been shared about a fourth season, as Rolin Jones himself told me, if they showed up at San Diego Comic-Con… the odds were very good.

Hopefully fans will hear more at the panel (and maybe about that Night Island spinoff. With Zaman and Bogosian both in attendance, the timing sure feels right..).

Star Sam Reid will not be in attendance, as he is currently performing in the play Doubt: A Parable in Australia. However, a pre-recorded message certainly feels possible.
