Independent publisher Z2 Comics has invited legendary Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson to his very first United States comic book convention appearance this week at WonderCon in Anaheim, Ca.
Dickinson will be in attendance for a panel on Saturday, March 30 at 5pm in Room 300E to discuss his comic book The Mandrake Project with renowned artist Bill Sienkiewicz who provided the cover for the book. The comic book, intended as a 12-issue series, is a companion to Dickinson’s seventh solo album of the same name, which was released on March 1st. Joining Dickinson and Sienkiewicz will be Rantz Hoseley (Eisner Award–winning editor), Josh Bernstein (Ringo Award–winning editor), and moderator Ryan J. Downey (MTV News).
Before the panel, fans can meet Dickinson and Sienkiewicz at the Z2 booth, #1500, for autograph signings. Sienkiewicz will be signing from 12:30 – 1:30pm and Dickinson will be signing from 3:30 – 4:30pm. Attendees will need to purchase either a comic book two-pack of The Mandrake Project, or of the Piece of Mind Deluxe Edition in order to secure a signature. Dickinson will not be signing any other items.
In addition, one lucky WonderCon attendee will win a one-of-a-kind Epiphone Explorer Guitar to celebrate the upcoming graphic novel Metal Warrior: Getting The Band Back Together.
Be sure to stop by Z2 at Booth #1500 for all the details about how to enter to win, and to browse all of Z2’s fantastic comic book and graphic novels during WonderCon.
