One of the most exciting surprises to come out of last year’s panel lineup at San Diego Comic-Con was the inclusion of everyone’s favorite tiny, stop-motion chef — Tiny Chef — and this year he’s back to serve up another panel for fans.
While additional details about the panel are still to be revealed, fans can expect another chance to hear directly from the creative team about what’s next for Tiny Chef as they continue to build the series independently, following last year’s cancellation. They’ll learn the “full display” of Tiny Chef‘s plans for the coming year.
Their San Diego Comic-Con appearance will be part of a week-long “Fwends Drive”, which hopefully means there’s even more Tiny Chef for fans at the con.
The Tiny Chef team has also launched a completely redesigned website, making it easier than ever for fans to explore new interactive features, shop new merch, and more At the heart of the relaunch is the “Fwend Club“, a new membership program that gives supporters exclusive previews of upcoming content, behind-the-scenes access, and members-only merchandise while directly helping fund future episodes and projects. Memberships now start at just $2 per month.
“This show is a true labor of love for our small-but-mighty team, and we know how much Chef means to fans around the world – so the cancellation was a real low point,” says series Co-Creator Rachel Larsen. “But honestly, it lit a fire under us. The cancellation pushed us to do whatever it took to keep Chef out there in the world.”
