Are you ready to rock, Comic-Con? The upcoming film Concert Heroes is bringing its love letter to live music fandom to San Diego Comic-Con this year with a panel, featuring some of the biggest names in comedy.
The indie comedy, filmed entirely in San Diego, follows a burned-out videographer who finally lands his dream job filming the farewell tour of his favorite band, only to find himself caught in a whirlwind of eccentric superfans, backstage chaos, and a backstabbing rival. Along the way, he discovers that the real rock stars are often the fans in front of the stage.
Attendees can get an inside look at the film during “The Real Rock Stars Face the Stage!” panel on Saturday, July 25 in the Indigo Ballroom at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront.
They’ll be treated to behind-the-scenes stories, exclusive clips, and the world premiere trailer in a panel that features stars Chris Kattan (Saturday Night Live, A Night at the Roxbury), Horatio Sanz (Saturday Night Live), E.G. Daily (Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure), Robert Romanus (Fast Times at Ridgemont High), Eddie McClintock (Warehouse 13), Carolyn Hennessy (Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker), Josh Sussman (Glee), and Ryan Ochoa (Pair of Kings). Writer/producer Steven Mark (The Samuel Project), director Joe Nunez (Superbad).
Pop-rock band Carolina Liar lead Chad Wolf (produced by Max Martin) will also be performing live during the panel.
The panel will be moderated by Mark Atkinson (Selena: The Series).
