“Ice Cream Man” Director Eli Roth signing Exclusive Posters at Insight Editions During San Diego Comic-Con 2026

Director Eli Roth (HostelBorderlands) is bringing his brand of horror to the page.

The filmmaker’s media company, The Horror Section, has announced a new publishing partnership with Insight Editions that will launch in 2027, as first announced this morning by People.

The line will feature horror-inspired books spanning fiction, illustrated stories, interactive formats, and more, giving Roth another outlet for the countless stories.

While the publishing line is still a year away, San Diego Comic-Con attendees will get an early taste of the collaboration. To celebrate both the new partnership and the upcoming release of Roth’s latest film, Ice Cream Man, Roth will appear at the Insight Editions booth on Friday, July 24, from 5pm-6pm for a signing.

Fans who stop by will also have the chance to pick up a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Ice Cream Man print by artist Alan Robert, inspired by the upcoming horror film, which follows a suburban neighborhood thrown into chaos when a mysterious ice cream vendor’s frozen treats transform children into homicidal killers.

Could a panel for the film be far behind?

From People, here’s a look at the print:
