As promised, the first PM edition of Under the Tents! Although we just brought you a fresh round of Comic-Con news this morning, we’ve got lots of updates for you on everything from some not-so-ugly Ugly Doll Star Trek exclusives, a Supergirl attending the con, Skybound exclusives and screenings, and more.
Here’s a look at the news you might have missed:
- At San Diego Comic-Con, Red Giant Entertainment will be premiering GIANT-SIZE #1, a free ad-supported giveaway starring YouTube superstar Mar Fischbach in his comic book debut. 50,000 copies, which feature previews of never-before-seen artwork from eight titles, will be distributed at Red Giant Entertainment Booth #2635. Nicholas Prietti also shared a preview on Twitter.

- Are you cosplaying as Peggy Carter during SDCC? Then AgentCart.net is requesting that you report for duty. They’re busy trying to organize a Peggy Carter flash mob, and more details will be announced next week.
- The only thing better than The Geeky Hooker’s Deadpool Critter from a last year? This year’s Deadpool Critter in a sombrero. This little guy, and her other crocheted critters, will be headed to Comic-Con, and you can follow her on either Twitter or Faacebook to track the drops.
- This morning, we reported that Stephen Amell may not be making it to the mega-WB-DC Saturday night extravaganza. You know who will be there, though? Melissa Benoist — Supergirl herself — as she announced she’s coming for us on Twitter.

- Are you going to SherlockeDCC? Not only can you hang out with fellow Sherlock fans, but you can also buy stuff from the vendors there, which include Espionage Cosmetics, High Voltage, and more. You can find the full list on their site.
- Skybound has kicked off their Comic-Con announcements with something big: they’re partnering with Scion to bring you the premiere for AIR, starring Norman Reedus and Djimon Hounsu on Friday, July 10 at the UA Horton Plaza. Scion is giving away some tickets, and Skybound Insiders will have a chance to grab a pair of tickets, so make sure you’re signed up for their newsletter, where they’ll be announcing details on how to win.
- Cardboard Spaceship and Light Sleepers are teaming up for some Comic-Con exclusives, including an Infinity Gauntlet t-shirt. You can find them at Booth #5638.
- Looks like Vannen Watches is teaming up with Skybound for another exclusive this year. The company offered a tease on Twitter.

- Sarah Kuhn, author of the Heroine Complex trilogy, teased on Twitter that she’ll have something “pretty cool” to share at Comic-Con.

- Can’t get enough Fat Rabbit Farm? Neither can we, which is why we’re excited they shared some of their booth signage this year on Facebook.
- 91X, an FM radio station in San Diego, is giving away two passes to the day of your choice to San Diego Comic-Con. Enter now on their website for a chance to win.
- Comic book illustrator J.K. Woodward mentioned on Twitter that he’ll be signing autographs at this year’s convention.

- Comic book legend Marv Wolfman announced on Facebook that he’ll be on three panels at the convention, with details still TBA.
- Max Toy Co shared another custom headed for Comic-Con at the Rotofugi Booth, this time in the form of a winged Kaiju Eyezon by Mark Nagata.
- Ugly Doll has some extra awesome exclusives this year: Star Trek Ugly Dolls, as well as a few other exclusives. Ugly Doll co-creator David Horvath shared several photos on Instagram, and they look, well, less ugly and more awesome.
- Artist Dominic Qwek showed off a stunning 3D printed monster statue he designed that will be at Comic-Con.
