There’s only a few more days left to break out the Comic-Con news, and we’ve got one of, if not the, longest edition of Under the Tents to date this morning. What are the odds that cast members will show up for the Sense8 panel? Want a sneak peek at the latest Be@rbrick figure? What is Topps doing for Comic-Con? Who didn’t get the memo on banned selfie sticks?
We’ve got the answers to all of that and more.
Here’s a look at the news you might have missed:
- SpankyStokes reports that there is now at least a partial reveal of the previously announced Be@rbrick exclusive designed by Sket One based on the famous Huy Fung Foods packaging. It will be available at Comic-Con booth #5146. More news to come.
- GRIZandNorm announced on Twitter that they will be selling a cat print at SDCC small press table N-02.

- San Diego Fox 5 Morning News is giving away a pair of single day passes to SDCC 2015 every day this week. Watch the morning news, find out the character of the day, and enter on the website. Check out the page for all the details.
- Darth Von Ohlen posted a card on Twitter of a Topps exclusive of over-sized Star Wars classic cards. The set will be for sale at SDCC 2015 and contain 10 cards. He also has the second of 10 card reveals here.

- Arrow cast member Colton Haynes posted on Instagram the news that he won’t be attending San Diego Comic-Con this year. Sad news for Haynes fans and makes us wonder who from Arrow might be there, with Stephen Amell having announced that he may not be in attendance either..
- On Sunday, Funko had one of its impromptu Q&A sessions on Twitter and answered a question about how the sale of products would go during Comic-Con. The rules will officially be posted next week, but they also said the pricing will be on the order forms you will turn in at the booth. That’s a hint.

- Udon exclusive pre-orders are set to go on sale June 30 for purchase at pick-up at SDCC 2015. We’ll have more information for you later this morning.
- J. Michael Straczynski posted on Twitter that during his Comic-Con panel he will be discussing Sense8, but there are no plans for cast to join.

- Urban Vinyl Daily has news on a collaboration between Scott Tolleson and Flat Bonnie to create the Kookie No Goodie. This is a special San Diego Comic-Con release is limited to 20 pieces, will cost between $45 and $50 and will be available at booth #5139.
- VGKIDS posted a preview picture on Twitter of an SDCC Jack Kirby blacklight print for Heavy Metal Magazine available for preorder. They say they turned out great.

- SpankyStokes has news on another vinyl toy headed to SDCC 2015. Swanicorn, designed by Daniel Fleres, will be bringing a smaller version to the convention called Smallicorn. No word yet on specifics.
- Carolyn C. Nowak posted on Twitter that she is taking pre-order sketches for BOOM! Studios and Lumberjanes to be picked up at Comic-Con. They are $30 and details can be found in the link.

- The folks over at Square Enix posted on their site that these two adorable plush Carbuncles from Final Fantasy XIV will be for sale at SDCC at the Square Enix booth.
- Artist and writer Kody Chamberlain posted on Twitter that he is looking for artists to pitch new things to him at Comic-Con. If you are an artist with work to show, this could be a great opportunity.

- Tim Shay showed off on Instagram another dinosaur drawing he did for the Breygent Jurassic Domination card set. A promo card will be available at Comic-Con booth #735.
- Patrick Nickell of Crash Games announced on Twitter that they are some awesome stuff together for San Diego Comic-Con including a meet and greet. More details available soon.

- Bif Bang Pow! reported on Twitter that Entertainment Earth is giving out a signed Penny Dreadful book to the first nine people to purchase all seven Penny Dreadful exclusives at their SDCC 2015 booth, #2343.

- Toys R Evil posted on their website that 3DRetro announced they will be releasing a glow in the dark edition of Lavabear from Nathan Hamill at Comic-Con. It will be limited to 75 pieces and available at the 3DRetro/DKE Booth #5045.
- Eva Cabrera tweeted that her new graphic novel will be available in time for SDCC and will be available at smell press table m-05.

- We have already posted on Top Cow signings and exclusives, but they have posted on their website the addition of sketch packages. Each one comes with different contents, but you have a chance to purchase multiple goodies from several Top Cow artists at some very affordable prices. The packages available are for artists Isaac Goodhart, Stejpan Sejic, Linda Sejic, and Marc Silvestri.

- Diamond Select Toys has posted on their website items they will be bringing to San Diego Comic-Con to preview before they go on sale in the fall. These include The Flash, The Muppets, Back to the Future and more. Check out the site for all the details.

- Tess Fowler posted on Tumblr that they will be selling hand-made, hard cover sketchbooks made with recycled paper at Comic-Con small press table M-05.

- blastr is reporting on their site that Syfy and Midas are teaming up to bring people all kinds of swag at SDCC 2015, including Dominion back packs, Dark Matter graphic novels, Geeks Who Drink temporary tattoos, and the dreaded selfie sticks. Just don’t try to bring those into the convention center. Keep an eye out for the Midas street team in the Gaslamp District. Check out the website for details.
