‘Ghost Wars’ Set to Haunt San Diego Comic-Con 2017

San Diego Comic-Con is adding a little spookiness this year, as actor Vincent D’Onofrio revealed that he will be at the convention to promote his upcoming Syfy series, Ghost Wars.

The series follows a remote Alaskan town that has been overrun by paranormal forces and a local outcast who must overcome the town’s prejudices and his own personal demons if he’s to harness his repressed psychic powers and save everyone from the mass haunting that’s threatening to destroy them all.

There’s no official word on if Ghost Wars will be getting a panel or if D’Onofrio will just be in town for a pitstop at something like Syfy Presents Live From Comic-Con, but an official panel seems likely. The series also stars Avan Jogia, Kim Coates, Kristin Lehman, and Meat Loaf.

D’Onofrio also seemed to shoot down any suggestions that he would be in town for Daredevil — which makes sense, given that even if Netflix and Marvel do bring along something again this year, it’s more likely to be The Defenders, which D’Onofrio doesn’t feature in.
