Under the Tents: Symbiote Studios, Ethan Castillo, Terry Moore, Ash Evans

Did you know there are only six Mondays until Comic-Con? You did? Then you must have read our last Under the Tents for some SDCC news. This edition has even more great news from Lorelay Bové, Ethan Castillo, Symbiote Studios, and a lot more. Get your spreadsheets ready, because there are some insanely talented artists in here you won’t want to miss.

Here’s a look at what you might have missed:

  • Disney artist Lorelay Bové is bringing some tiki magic with her to SDCC 2019. You can usually find her at Gallery Nucleus’s booth, which will be #2015 this year.

  • Symbiote Studios has always made the best out of being the closest booth to the Funko booth by playing rock-paper-scissors with the Funko line and offering up some free swag. This year, as always, you can be a part of that if you volunteer to help at their SDCC booth this year. They’ll even provide you with an SDCC badge, so if you missed out on Returning and/or Open Registration, this is a perfect opportunity for you to get into the con. How can you pass up free swag and a Comic-Con badge?

  • Fourteen-year-old wunderkindt artist Ethan Castillo has a cool offer – stop by his table at SDCC and buy one of his I HATE SPIDERS or analog digital sketchbooks, and he’ll throw in a hand-drawn Spider-Man sketch in the back for you. And if you’re really nice, he may just draw Batman for you instead.
