Considering we already have confirmation that Kevin Smith will be taking over the Tin Roof this year at San Diego Comic-Con (not to be confused with the Tin Fish) for a Mooby’s pop-up, live podcasts, and more — this next news should come as no surprise.
Smith will be returning to Hall H at the convention for his annual panel, according to a tweet from Smith. While a date and time haven’t been specified yet, it’s Comic-Con tradition for Smith to take over the final Saturday evening slot, for An Evening with Kevin Smith, where he essentially talks about upcoming projects and, well, anything he wants.
This year, he hopes to unveil a look at the Clerks III trailer, which he got a peek at thanks to Lionsgate. Will attendees get to see the trailer during Comic-Con? We sure hope so.
The @Lionsgate folks showed me a first pass of the CLERKS III trailer and I fucking LOVE IT!

Trailer cutting is a storytelling art form entirely unto itself – and the artists behind what I saw have my respect and awe!
Hoping I get to share it during my Hall H panel at ComiCon… pic.twitter.com/s82qcRH60S
