Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment has a long history of bringing several of their latest animated films to San Diego Comic-Con for their world premiere, and that’s a trend that looks to be continuing into 2023.
They’ll be attending the convention with four panels for their upcoming animated films, including Adult Swim’s The Venture Bros.: Radiant is the Blood of the Baboon Heart, Metalocalypse: Army of the Doomstar, DC’s Justice League: Warworld, and Babylon 5: The Road Home.
You’ll get to catch the world premiere of The Venture Bros.: Radiant is the Blood of the Baboon Heart on Thursday, July 20 at 8:30pm in Room 6BCF, and afterwards, filmmakers Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer will be on hand along with key cast for a panel discussion and audience Q&A.
Then on Friday, July 21, join Metalocalypse: Army of the Doomstar in the Indigo Ballroom, with series co-creator Brendon Small and guests as they talk all things Metalocalypse, preview some clips from the upcoming R-rated film, and discuss the forthcoming album Dethalbum IV.
Also on Friday, you’ll find Justice League: Warworld with its world premiere at 9pm in Ballroom 20. You can catch the R-rated film in a screening followed by a Q&A with “filmmakers and cast” for a Q&A.
And finally, on Saturday, July 22, join Babylon 5: The Road Home at 6:30pm in Room 6BCF. Celebrate the 30th anniversary of the original series and catch the world premiere of the animated film from series creator J. Michael Straczynski, along with returning original series actors Bruce Boxleitner, Claudia Christian, Tracy Scoggins and Patricia Tallman.
