We’re really seeing SDCC 2017 news ramp up now. Many of you suffered through #Waitlisterical and found a better place to sleep than the Hall H line. If you’re still looking, you still have some options, which we outlined here. We also saw Mystery Science Theater 3000 and The Adventure Zone announce live shows for San Diego Comic-Con, and some killer Daredevil exclusives from Hasbro. Of course, there were other announcements, and we’ve gathered those here for you.
Here’s a look at what you might have missed:
- John Allison from Scary Go Round Comics lists Comic-Con International on the “Upcoming Appearances” sidebar on his website. We’ll keep a lookout for where you can find him there.
- Coffin Comics’ Lady Death: Merciless Onslaught Tour is “locked in” for SDCC this year.
- Celestial Comics announced via Facebook Event that they will be at SDCC this year. Details are still forthcoming, but they did announce that they are accepting mail-in and onsite submissions until July 7. Let them know you’re interested and stay tuned for more updates.
- Geoff Johns tweeted a teaser for his latest DC installment, Doomsday Clock. We now know within a range of how many issues it will be, but he can’t reveal more until SDCC.
Thanks for all the questions! #DoomsdayClock 🕚will b more than 6 issues/less than 13 – too early to announce other details, more @Comic_Con!

- Claus Studios’ Justin Harder, designer of the end titles for Deadpool (among others), is currently brainstorming ideas for his next SDCC exclusive. Spelling error aside, we’d say this is a strong contender. If you agree, find him in the Small Press area at Table #O-08.
